The session was very full and basically "handout central". so if you're interested in any of the following:
Just a bit of light reading then....
btw - one guy in the audience said that the most innovative staff he has to support (and struggles to keep up with) in their application of learning technologies are those within 5 years of retirement who can't get enough of the new technologies and feel they have nothing to lose in being truly experimental to push the boundaries of learning and teaching - yes, you're right, it was met by about a hundred gasps of disbelief around the room.
- student survey on ICT
- staff survey on ICT
- faculty: then and now (btw "then" is mid 90s)
- methods for ascertaining what faculty really do
- teaching styles and technology adoption
- instructional strategies and emerging technologies
- technology teaching and learning continuum (based on Bloom's taxonomy)
- emerging technologies: definitions and applications
- tablet PC pedagogical applications
- annotated resource list by pedagogical area
